Very clean. She cleaned the underneath of the table and the walls. Food is great and came out quick. Just be aware that there is a surcharge for using a credit card that you don't about until cashing out. Love the train ambiance

Food is great whether it is breakfast, lunch or dinner. I love the taco salad, husband love the Depot platter, and son loves the fried chicken. I have not had a bad meal. Service varies depending on waitresses. Most the time they are decent

Train themed dining experience. There is a small train running along the ceiling around the dining room. Cute... and there are other little things to look at. An inspriational display and train pictures. I wandered in here by accident in search of lunch. I ended up ordering the BLT with fries. The BLT was great... the fries not so much. I would not order the fries again, they are skinny, limp and just not what I like. I would love to come back and check out other menu options though. The prices are quite reasonable and the service is super friendly and efficient.

If you are looking for a class, simple diner, this is it. You won't find avocado toast on this menu. Instead, you'll find classic down-home goodness. My husband and I had to drop our car for some work in the area and he found this place, so we decided to try it out. On a Wednesday morning, this place is PACKED with regulars. There was a table of about 20 older gentlemen (with a few women too) enjoy a what was clearly a weekly breakfast gathering. The entire atmosphere is: simple home-cooked food and classic, not-in-your-face service. We loved it. I got the two egg breakfast with scrambled eggs, goetta, hash browns (perfectly crispy on the outside and soft inside), and a biscuit. It was the best biscuit I think I've ever had. Maybe fresh out of the oven. YUM!

This place is the best! The decor is adorable, the staff is wonderful, and the food is absolutely delicious. Go for breakfast, and get some of the treats -grilled muffin(trust me), the best pancakes, and delightful French toast - or the savory ones (great bacon and eggs). Once you've rested a bit, go back for lunch, also terrific! And it's local, so what else could you ask for?

A friend met me at Lindenwald Station for brunch. It was my first time! Donna, one of the owners, served us. The food was spectacular! We both chose breakfast meals. Prices are modest. Portions are adequate. Presentation is superb! Great place for meeting friends, sharing a delicious meal, and lingering over coffee!

Summary: EXCEPTIONAL service and very good food. This simple restaurant sports a railroad motif. Lots of rail photos and memorabilia. A model train circles the restaurant along the ceiling. Entrees have railroad theme name, such as the Cattle Car (a large omelette), and portions are ample. Our party of eight had exceptional service from a single server, though others jumped in when needed. Prices were fair. Parking was ample with front and back areas: That was appreciated since we were pulling a small cargo trailer.

I was out on a Saturday morning running errands and came across Lindenwald Station in Fairfield. Fun neighborhood spot with plenty of parking. Decorated as you would imaging a station to be, lots of trains! The food was great home cooking, my wife had French toast with a side of biscuits and gravy. I had the "cattle car" omelet aka meat lovers, and it was great! The wait for the table was short and the service was outstanding. We will return!
